So anyway...

...i tripped down to Deptford on Friday, it being but a mere stone's throw from my Peckham manor. I met with the T-shirt designers and very dolly they were too. We chatted for about an hour and a half and had a right laugh at all the same things. They want a comedy animation pilot to tie in with their clothing range. Thinking about it, I have always watched cartoons. Tom and Jerry, Scooby Doo, Shazzam (anyone else remember that? "Size of a donkey!" - really not rude at all, I promise), Marine Boy etc.
And now of course, the boy watches cartoons, The Simpsons, Ed, Edd and Eddie, Scooby Doo, Tom and Jerry. We're steeped in 'toons here! So, what's you're favourite cartoon?

Wow - so many! Used to love Roobarb & Custard as a little 'un. Then came Dangermouse, Trap Door and all that early 80s Cosgrove Hall stuff (I say all, I've probably forgotten the bad ones).

These days I couldn't say - I'm not into the kids shows so much, although Pocoyo is suitably surreal. The hatchling isn't entertained by much except that and Thomas the Tank Engine. And anything by Pixar.

I'd forgotten all about Trap Door! Jordan likes that too and 'Globitz!' has entered the family lexicon - and they say television teaches you nothing.

I've never seen Pocoyo. We've just watched Antz which is one I never mind watching too.

'Cripes DM' if I didn't love me some Dangermouse. I also seem to recall really enjoying Willo' the Wisp... it had a talking, walking telebox doncha' know! And Kenneth Williams. And still it marked a high point in my sanity!!!

Ah, Kenneth Williams - those were the days!

Good heavens Piers - Shazzam was never like THAT!
