Comps a go-go.

Darling ones,

this week has been very satisfying as my series outline for the Red Planet competition takes (even if I say so myself) COHERENT shape. I intend to write the first ten pages of script next week, send out for a little PO3 action, then depart for my annual vacation WITH MEMBERS OF MY EXTENDED FAMILY!! Yes, yes, I must be mad. I always think it will be a happy idyll of lunches on the terrace. It never, ever is. Just the usual disgruntlement over wet towels, who didn't clean the bath out and whose turn it is for the washing-up. I'm working on my Buddha-like serenity but I may be obliged to get mediaeval.

How's everyone else doing on the Red Planet front?

Their showreel at Dem2 productions is fantastic, too - just watched it.

Hope you have a good holiday x

Have a lovely holiday and keep a pillow handy to punch. It causes fewer family rifts than letting rip.

I've got an outline. A very skeletal outline. Like I know exactly what happens on pages 1-5 and page 10. It's just the pages in between that I'm worried about. Like you Elinor, I should hopefully start drafting next week.
