Crikey!!
Thanks to super-hero Brendan, who, when not rescuing people on the streets of Birmingham, posted this on SP a while back. Just for a laff, I pitched Penny Dreadful and I've been shortlisted to appear before the judges on October 4th!! I'm terrified, what WAS I thinking...?
Any tips for pitching gratefully received.

The ultimate pitching resource
Andy, you are clearly a man of good taste...
For public speaking (or pitching) I find the following helps:
1) Always rehearse aloud. You get a better idea how long it will take and if you are rambling. Pet cats make a good audience. If they look freaked it's going well.
2) Make sure you know exactly what the first sentence will be. The fear is worse just before you start so it gives you something to get past that stage.
3) Relax and enjoy it. Remind yourself you know the project is good. If they don't see it then someone else will.
I'm sure it will go well.
