NY res: I've given up scriptwriting contests! I worked out in hours how many I'd spent on my Red Planet entry to no avail, only to junk it (for now) versus a whole other heap of stuff I could have done with REAL contacts I already have. Very sobering!!!
Of course contests are fab - and great motivation. But weirdly, this year, for me, they proved a DISTRACTION. Weird, eh?
